Chris and Maryanne Certosimo, owners of the Lone Star Bakeshop, were introduced to the delectable pastries that are kolaches while living in Texas. After returning to their home state of New Jersey, they missed the sweet and savory treats. Once Chris retired from running his own business, the couple decided it was time to bring kolaches to NJ. They perfected their technique and their recipes and are now proud to share these traditional Czech pastries that are deservedly so popular in Texas.
